Standard AI image generation uses 100 credits per image. If the workflow also generates a caption at 20 credits, a single image plus that caption totals 120 credits.
A caption-only generation, a manual text edit and an AI image edit are different actions. Check the selected workflow’s estimate before generating.
Single images and multiple-image posts
For a standard workflow charging 100 credits per generated image and one 20-credit caption, the example calculation is number of images × 100 + 20.
- One image and one AI caption: 120 credits.
- Three images and one AI caption: 320 credits.
- Five images and one AI caption: 520 credits.
These examples are not a universal quote for every template. A workflow may show separate slide generation, rewriting, rendering or caption costs. In particular, do not apply the simple image formula to every Informative Carousel operation.
Verify the recorded deduction
- Expand Workspace → Credit Usage.
- Select a period containing the generation.
- Filter the action list if needed.
- Review the relevant event’s Type and Credits.

The populated example includes image-generation deductions of 120 and 320 credits. Older events can display technical action names.
The Dashboard’s Images bucket shows aggregate image usage, while Text and Image Edits are tracked separately. Standard AI image edits cost 75 credits per edit; requesting a fresh replacement image is a new generation instead.
An image-generation event can therefore include an AI caption charge even though the Dashboard separates image and text usage. Compare the components of the requested operation with its event amount rather than expecting the Images bucket alone to show the entire post cost.
